HISTORY OF K-Hype.Co

K-Hype.Co was established on the 16th of October 2011. Based in Seoul, South Korea, the founder of the company, Adeline Cheah, had the vision to produce a reliable and ethical company that was able to create news without any form of biased and unethical methods. With this objective, she started K-Hype.Co. 

With a lack of capital, the company started with three individuals. With passion and drive, they started producing quality articles about the K-POP industry and soon realised that that was a good theme to start-up with. Thus, beginning their venture into the Korean scene.

It was soon in the year 2017 when the company started expanding with new writers joining the team. After a good eight years, K-Hype.Co had developed and gotten a name for being the most reliable and accurate source of K-POP news for international readers. After a successful nine years of article production, K-Hype.Co was awarded for “Best International Source For Korean News” by the Online Media Awards 2020.
